Our season opens with Scottish singer-songwriter Dougie MacLean who makes his first appearance at Chandler Music Hall. For many years, Dougie has been at the forefront of the development of Scottish music and song. His songs illuminate everyday life, and touch people deeply. One of Scotland's most gifted and successful contemporary singer-songwriters, his innovative work has created a modern interpretation of this music even as its fundamental values remain rooted in the ancient Scots culture. His stories and engaging repartee between songs make a Dougie MacLean concert an intimate and unforgettable experience.
